I consider myself a dramaturgical director. I focus on the words first, and then the world I create in my mind. I like to say that my style is a mixture of cinematic storytelling, hyper realism and classic imagery.

I prefer the collaborative process and creating an ensemble.

One of my favorite things is the creation of new works, or helping young artists create new works and I spend a large portion of each year fostering events that focus on new works.
