 Peter Pan

Knowing your casting pool is extremely important when choosing a production. I happened to have the perfect chemistry in that group of actors to create that amazingly fun, family show that everyone loved.

Design Concept: Creating the magical world was hard, and then add flying. We created our own Nana costume, Ostrich and giant Crocodile puppet to help with the fantastical transformation. The color of the sets and costumes was also very bright and vivid. I built a thrust ramp out into the audience, that enclosed our orchestra, and served as the bow of the pirate ship and a path in the forest. This brought the actors, the dancing and the sword fighting within inches of the audience, which helped completely transport them into our story.
