Death by Dessert
Death by Dessert was a dinner theatre murder mystery, where I once again transformed our large auditorium by moving the audience onto the stage. I created the dueling Italian restaurants by placing the tables one either side of the stage and gallery seating along the front for those who didn’t want to eat. I kept the set simple and instead focused more on creating an atmosphere for patio dinning. I used projections to create flashbacks, and the two restaurant signs. The acting space was mainly in the center but it was a complete 360 degree theatrical experience.
