ALICE
Taking both Through the Looking Glass and Alice in Wonderland, I wanted to create a story where the supporting characters were not just in one chapter, but instead present with Alice on her journey. Having an amazing ensemble group this year, I created a story where young Alice’s dream collides with her pre-adult and adult self as she looks through many mirrors to find herself.
Design Concept: Steampunk acid trip. I hand crafted all the costumes to fit the vibrant weird world I created. With such large cast the set was minimal and suggestive, which also allowed for the possible easy transport if we ever wanted to tour it.
